Bhartiya Grameen Mahila Sangh is a national level social development organisation based in Indore in Madhya Pradesh, India. BGMS renders professional services in social sector and implements a range of development projects at the grass roots level. BGMS is registered as a society under Madhya Pradesh Societies Registration Act 1960 on March 14, 1969, with registration no. 1296. It is registered under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), 2010, with registration no. 063300017. It is also registered under various relevant sections of Income Tax Act, 1961.

Life Skills Education for Adolescents

Bhartiya Grameen Mahila Sangh (BGMS) has been working in collaboration with School Education Department, Govt. of MP and UNFPA to integrate life skills education into the school education system

Training Programme for ASHA

The Government of India has launched a National Rural Health Mission in all states and UN territories to address the health needs of rural population, especially the vulnerable sections of the society

Jeevan Jyoti Training Centre

This centre is being run by the organisation. Residential training for ASHA workers, adolescent girls and health workers are conducted. Current Outlay Rs. 14,23,601

Jeevan Jyoti School

Bhartiya Grameen Mahila Sangh is running Jeevan Jyoti School in Rau. Its objective is to make low cost education available to rural girls who are poor, destitute, unassisted and financially weak so that they can move ahead in their life.

Jeevan Jyoti Hostel

Hostel facility is for girls who are coming from remote villages. All the residents of hostel strictly follow the rules and regulations. Emphasis is given on the nutritive and good quality of food

Destitute Girls Home

This programme is being run in Rau Jeevan Jyoti Shikshan Sansthan campus. Fifty destitute girls resides in this home. The girls come to this centre through Child Welfare Committee, Childline and WCD
